Hoax Alert About a K9 Named Brutus Being a Veteran of Iraq and a Congressional Medal of Honor Winner

The following picture and story are being circulated online. Unfortunately, neither is not true. It's sad that scammers would stoop so low.

According to www.Snopes.com/"There are no news account of a "military K9" from McChord Air Force Base being 'on tour in Iraq' and involved in the exploits attributed to Brutus . . . and although medals are sometimes awarded to dogs for heroic feats, no such animal has ever received a Medal of Honor."
